Finally got to play Bioshock

WOW! How many years has Bioshock been out? Well I finally got a chance to play after buying it in the summer. Christmas vacation is here and I have a few games to play; my first being Bioshock. I have not finished it but I am going to talk about the few hours I have played so far. This game starts when you get in a plane accident mysteriously in front of a tower in the ocean, you go through the tower down to Rapture, the underwater metropolis, overturned by psychos after the city went crazy. The first part of the game is kind of scary. As you enter the city you are greeted by atlas, a man trying to get you to help him save his family. The game makes you feel more immersed than most games with the sound of the whales, visual destruction of the city, and how terrifying the game can feel sometimes. What really feels terrifying is the sight of a Big Daddy. There are a few type of them, the first you encounter is a huge metal brute with a giant drill for his right arm. You can here his deep moans from a mile away, a terrifying noise. You pass by him wondering if I should attack him for the little sister's Adam or should I just pass by? You end up attacking him, Ohhahaha you are in for a show . When I attacked the big daddy O realized a few bullets cannot defeat the metal brute so I took off, this did me no good, as you run off you fear for your character's life because you can tell the metal monster is PISSED. He runs at full force to kill you. I wouldn't dare mess with one IRL if they existed. You also get special powers that use up EVE which is the source of power and ADAM which give you power ups. This game is truly shaping to be a favorite. Oh and when you kill a Big Daddy you feel accomplished but then you have to make a moral Decision, should I harvest the Adam from the little sister or should I free her from the bondage of Adam? It is a really good game so far.
